The 11th International Airborne Wind Energy Conference (AWEC 2026) will be hosted at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) — and we’re excited to share that the UPWIND team is co-organizingthis landmark event!

We warmly invite researchers, industry experts, and innovators in airborne wind energy to submit a one-page abstract. Submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Programme Committee, and accepted abstracts will appear in the open-access Illustrated Book of Abstracts. Selected works will also be featured as oral or poster presentations during the conference.
